Timi Aguilar has over twenty years of public relations experience supporting a diverse mix of clients including telecommunications, restaurant service, the banking industry, construction, and non-profits. She brings expertise in public affairs, strategic planning, community relations and philanthropy, campaign and event development and execution, product launches and media/analyst relations.

Prior to starting Aguilar Public Relations, she served as AT&T’s Western Region director in Denver where she implemented AT&T’s corporate communications, business sales and public policy initiatives in a 14-state region, and she served as AT&T’s spokesperson and media coordinator.  She has also coordinated strategic grassroots campaigns in support of AT&T’s public policy initiatives.

She played a key role in strategic planning, development, and execution of media efforts in support of AT&T Business Sales.  Through the AT&T Foundation, she has partnered with regional organizations to provide philanthropic support.  Through AT&T’s evolution since 1991, she has provided public relations support to the wireless division, the former AT&T cable division, and the former network systems divisions.

Throughout her career, Timi has provided strategic PR counsel to executive leadership and managed high profile projects and events for investor relations and government affairs. Her extensive project   management and video production experience as an executive producer has led her from producing live press conferences out of New York City to producing video and film projects in The United States, Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe.

She was a board member of the Business Outreach Committee for the Denver 2008 Host Committee, which helped support local business interests during the Democratic National Convention.  She is a member of Denver’s Latina Chamber’s Executive Board, and she is a former member of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  She is an alumnus of the “50 for Colorado” leadership program through the CU-Boulder School of Leads (1999) and is a graduate of AT&T’s Executive Leadership Program (2001).  She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Notre Dame Club of Denver.

Timi holds a degree in both Government and Film & Television and from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  She teaches Small Wonders at St. Thomas More Church and is a member of the Timber Trail Educational Alliance.
